feral kids are great aren't they!!! Just let them run wild, and then when something bad happens you can just blame someone else because of your lack of parenting.

its too bad there are no laws for parents who take no responsibility in their children s behavior – just short of point the finger as someone else. That always works. Don't believe me – check your local paper for children that assault and murder people – do you see the parent in jail? NOPE. They're helping the law point fingers at everyone else. and how their child is a victim of circumstance – bull. If that is true how come ALL children are not murderers ? Hats off to the parents to taught their children well. when they get mad they don't assault and kill other human beings. They know how to handle it because their parents spend time with them.

I wish i sold meds online – I'd tell the parents to F.O! The pharmacies are NOT your childs' guardians.
I have two grown kids, both are managers of stores. No they weren't perfect. but ya know what – i took full responsibility for anything they did wrong – because it is MY responsibility to teach them right from wrong.
Maybe I did it wrong – I should do it like these parents – and they can buy me drugs. woot!!! or maybe shoot that moronic driver for me!! Yeah baby!! Our world has gone to crap because now business people are now responsible for other parents children. the tv is responsible too – parents have crappy TV's they forgot they have an off button. the internet is responsible because of the content. I'm confused why the heck are parents putting TV's cellphones and other non essentials in the hands of minors? – where does the responsibility of the parents come in? Hello?
quit posting this crap – you don't like it – put the parents in jail for irresponsibility. Negligence. Murder. Online business are just that – doesnt matter if they sell cars drugs to porn – KEEP YOUR F*** KIDS OFF THE SITES!!! duh!! Its not their job – their job is to sell – your job is to parent and teach that these things are wrong –

Ask dog owners who have had their dog put to sleep – that's funny – they are either trained that way, or instinct – what is a child's excuse –
    right
    premeditated.

That a powerful reminder of the ease of the internet. Parents should have frank conversations regarding what is illegal and dangerous. After instilling this, we can only hope for the best.

I would really like to know why it is so dam hard to get pain meds if you really need them. In the United States it’s like pulling hens teeth. You can drive to Mexico and buy pain meds over the counter anti-anxiety pills too. Our government sucks. This is not the land of the free. What is so dam free about it!!!

Okay so if kids are purchasing meds on line, they have to have a active credit card – let’s presume it was taken by the kid from mom’s wallet. I wish more parents would lock up their liquor, wallets, checkbooks and medications. Our society would be better off. And I agree Helene – it’s sad when our people (Americans) have to turn to other countries for relief of disabiling pain. Docs are afraid to dispense opates due to the FDA coming down on them. I lived in Ohio, moved to MIssouri and crimmy these docs are like “okay here are 30 vicodin for 60 days”. Excuse me???? I have metal plates in my leg, screws will be there forever. Yes it hurts and dang it by limiting me you are making matters worse. I don’t mind paying – I’m lucky and can. I just think our medical staff needs a wake up call that patients in pain need these meds!!!!

I agree that a parent is responsible for their children’s actions. If more parents were held accountable for their kids’ actions, I guarantee there would be fewer kids involved in crime! It’s called personal responsibility and some call it accountability. We’ve become a country of “he did it” and “it’s his fault”. Pathetic.

As for berating American pharmaceutical companies, there’s another case of blaming someone else! Yes, some of the meds are outrageously high, but if you would bother to find out why, you’d understand!! Rather than go into it here, research it yourselves, you’re far more inclined to remember it if you look it up yourselves!

For those complaining about the difficulty in obtaining pain meds, HELLOOOOOO. Those are the most over prescribed drugs. If you REALLY need it, a good doctor should supply. If your doctor isn’t inclined to prescribe it for you, that just might be because you are addicted! It isn’t the pharma co. that won’t let you have access, it is the doctor who has determined you don’t need it or need less of it than you want.

If you want you drug cheaper, as in Canada, then you must realize that the drug isn’t cheaper, the cost is subsidized by the government. Since the government doesn’t have a job that generates an income, its money comes from taxpayers! To subsidize medicine so heavily, other areas will have to suffer. Ask Canadians and they’ll tell you why they come to the US for many procedures!

People don’t mind spending $60 a month on cable tv, $80 on a cell phone plan, $200 on a pair of prescription glasses, or $20,000 / $300 to $400+ payment on a new car, but they don’t want to spend $150 on medicine that will save their lives. Yes, a prescription costing a thousand dollars is unbelievably high. But explore WHY the drug is expensive, how many years and how many studies, how many efforts to find a drug for that disease/condition was extensively researched only to find that it wouldn’t work. What about all the lawsuits against the drug companies because people blame the drug for causing a side effect that is clearly described as a possible side effect in its prescribing information? We are back to the personal responsibility topic. Nothing you put into your body will be without cause and effect — period. People want a magic bullet but it doesn’t exist. People want a perfect doctor that is correct every time the first time, but that doctor doesn’t exist. There are good and bad in every profession and every industry. Do you homework, FIRST, be educated, and then take responsibility for YOUR decisions!!
